Rough Start

So, this is the second night of swim practice and it was a challenge getting in the pool. They worked her pretty hard on Tuesday so she was anticipating the same level of coaching tonight. So far, it seems a bit more technique focused, not so much on speed yet. We are still in the first 20 minutes though.

I have realized that I need to get her dinner sooner. Eating at 6:00 and swimming at 7:00 is tough of the digestive tract. Kudos to Madeline though. She got in and started swimming which is more than I can say I would have done tonight!

Softball practice was fun last night. For a girl who hasn't really done much focused playing, she has come a long way. She kept pace with the girls from the team as if she'd been playing with them all along! Good fielding, good throwing, good batting, good running! That's my girl! She is looking forward to a great new adventure in softball!
