Hedgehog

Madeline has a love for puppets and the latest is a hedgehog she rented from the library. She takes the hedgehog everywhere she goes in the house. Today, I was getting us ready to go to the library and she was carrying hedgehog along telling him he'll be late if he doesn't come along. She's very gentle in her explanation of how he needs to get ready to go, even though he isn't actually coming along. Hedgehog sleeps with Madeline, watches shows with Madeline, and really seems to enjoy his foster home in Madeline's care.
